What you will be doing

As a seasoned Digital Marketing Manager your main objectives will be to identify, build and execute appropriate marketing programs to drive lead generation together with our external marketing team in Ukraine, and to make sure the SustainOnline platform and processes are supporting our ambitious growth targets. Your number one priority will be to generate and accelerate qualified sales leads by using different marketing tactics together with our team in Ukraine.

You will work closely with the CMO, the Ukraine marketing team, our regional partner managers and our global sales partners to plan, develop and execute digital marketing campaigns and lead generation programs that drive demand and raise awareness in our key markets around the globe.

You will also help implement the inbound marketing, sales and service software system HubSpot and various Google and Microsoft tools) and take the SustainOnline platform and lead process to a next level.

We have ambitious growth targets, and this position is key to achieving them. Success is measured by the number of qualified leads, and ultimately, the growth of the sales pipeline. This is a hands-on role including both inbound and outbound activities, so we are looking for a digital native and self-motivated “doer” with excellent project and program management skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to deliver great activities and results.

You will be part of the marketing team, and report to the CMO, but work closely with various stakeholders within sales and other parts of the organization. The role can be based in Helsinki, Stockholm or Örebro.

Job Description

The main objective for this position is divided in two parts:

Firstly, to deliver (plan, develop, execute, analyse, optimize, and follow up) high-performing digital marketing activities that build a solid sales pipeline and generate sales results.

Secondly, to take the marketing tech platform to the next level.

  • Grow the marketing team with the specific competence needed.
  • Develop and launch integrated digital demand generations, outbound and inbound, programs, including, but not limited to, key B2B channels such as outbound emails, ABM, Google Ads, LinkedIn, social media, webinars, etc.
  • Use our marketing platform (HubSpot) to drive demand generation and pipeline acceleration.
  • Be the lead for our marketing tech platform – Continuously improve the platform and related processes to make sure we have the best performing platform, and also make sure we have relevant data and reports available to take the correct (data-driven) decisions
  • Work closely with and support SustainOnline Regional Partner Managers, that manage our global sales partners, to identify and launch campaigns/opportunities (we plan to recruit Regional Partner Managers that oversee support and driving our sales partners in the respective regions)
  • Produce monthly reports and analyses to demonstrate leads and pipeline progress.
  • Work with the partner managers and sales partners to assure best practices and knowledge sharing, efficient onboarding of new recruits and compliance of the systems and lead process.
Who are you

We are looking for a hands-on marketing professional with a proven track record and solid working knowledge of digital and international B2B tech marketing, lead generation, sales-marketing alignment and customer acquisition campaigns.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing or related field.
  • 3-4+ years professional experience in a B2B digital marketing role, from a sales-driven company, focusing on marketing execution and building a solid new business pipeline. Experience from an international tech company is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of key B2B digital marketing activities/channels, e.g. Google Ads, LinkedIn, email nurture programs, marketing automation, etc. Strong digital marketing knowledge and skills in general are a must – combined with a strong sales mindset and solid understanding of pipeline management and how to drive demand in B2B domains.
  • Experience of working in a dynamic international environment and of collaborating with sales teams.
  • Experience in marketing tech solutions such as marketing automation, CMS and CRM (ideally HubSpot), and in data-driven marketing with the ability to analyze data sets and making meaningful business decisions.
  • Combining digital marketing skills with a sales mindset, but also combining an analytical and data-driven mindset with tech savvy and a willingness to learn new tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Fluent in written and spoken English, and the ability to write shorter copy for external communication in English.
  • High energy, can-do attitude, driven and self-going personality with hands-on execution skills and the ability to project lead and manage multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexible/adaptable but also with an outstanding attention to details.
